THERE IS BAN ON EVERYTHING EXCEPT VIOLENCE AND CORRUPTION (5th September 2009)

THERE IS BAN ON EVERYTHING EXCEPT VIOLENCE AND CORRUPTION (5th September 2009)

No, it is not really funny but a very serious issue that has never really bothered the political leaders (they use it to divide and rule the aam janta), MEDIA, NGOs or in that matter the law makers… only statements are issued (which are soon forgotten by one and all), enquiry is ordered (which takes years and years to complete and tampered to benefit the ruling government), yet, no serious action plan is ever achieved flawlessly to be really effective.

In the land of Kamasutra, sex is banned; cigarette smoking will be banned but cigarettes will be sold freely; freedom of expression is gagged for the poor and downtrodden but a rich can lie and lie till his death and yet no one will bother, instead the police and political leaders will assist and help them in whatever ways possible; books are banned and mockery of democracy is made public by various leaders (the recent BJP-Jaswant duel); kissing and sex scenes will be banned and censored by the Censor Board, whereas gory violence in films will be allowed endlessly without even a thought; corruption in various departments and walks of life is prevalent and to everyone’s knowledge, yet, no one will even bother to rectify the mechanism of the system….

Statements, quotes and more statements will be issued in the media through various PR (Public Relation) activities a la Obama style (yes, he is the man with only statements and no-action plan to save America)… there are NGOs for almost every single department and cause… be it animal, old-age, child labour and even the environment… so I wonder and always wonder, why not even a single political leader or NGO has ever bothered to put a STOP at VIOLENCE and CORRUPTION??? Points to ponder…

Yes, I know in the world that we live in, violence and corruption are the two virtues that take one to higher power trip… but have you ever wondered as to why no one has tried to implement an action plan??? PM’s statement – “Don’t leave the big fish” to CBI officials is just a hog wash… because everyone know how corrupt the CBI officials are… because they are well cared and supported by various politicians… the system starts from the leaders… and each step the corruption just keeps growing its tentacles and the poor aam janta like always suffer in silence and resilience to live his life without any trouble and complications…

CORRUPTION has seeped so much in our blood that we just cannot think of anything else… a traffic constable will take a 50-rupee note and let you go after you have broken the traffic rule; a criminal or convict will be set free on bail with a pair of thousand rupees; a file in any department will only move ahead when a bribe is given to a peon and up the ladder officials; media will only highlight someone who has paid to build a good image irrespective of what ugly deed one must have done; ration shop will sell their stock in black while poor will cry for relief with their sold conscience; leaders, who have committed crimes will fearlessly stand for election and even win it and will be protected by police; a judge will support the criminals (the richer, the better) and punish the innocent (always the victims are poor and honest) in most cases; well… CORRUPTION is omnipresent while a GOD may not be omnipresent in today’s corrupt society…

Truly there is no end to it and yet, not even a single leader has ever stand firm on his grounds to stop Corruption and put an end to it altogether… but statements about one’s clean image and honesty will be made public time and again shamelessly…

Similarly, VIOLENCE in the society has grown to such an extent that everywhere you see, there is an act of violence happening, yet, no one really is bothered to put a stop… no NGOs or board really bothers about all the violence in the society… in films, while sex scenes and smoking scenes are censored, yet violence in all films are allowed…why? Why is it a crime to love? And why it is not a crime to be violent in the films or society??? Moral police, public, police, law… everyone indulges in violence but no one really wants to put an end to it… I am not vying or trying to say, we want an UTOPIA but why we cannot highlight the good things about life… after all, everyone wants to live in peace and is searching for peace… isn’t it, so why there is war, violence and corruption? WHY THERE IS NO BAN ON VIOLENCE AND CORRUPTION?
